1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
Juice of one lemon
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Coat the chicken pieces in Cajun seasoning. I like to place the chicken in a bowl, add the seasoning, and toss it until it’s evenly coated.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and stir it with the butter for a minute or until fragrant.
Add the chicken and cook it in the garlic butter for about five minutes. Add the lemon juice, Worcestershire,ย and chicken broth.
Scrape up any browned bits off the bottom of the skillet as you stir. Simmer the sauce and chicken for two to three minutes or until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature 165ยฐ). Garnish with parsley if using.
