Greek burgers topped with creamy tzatziki sauce, crisp cucumber, tomato, and crumbled feta cheese. This is an easy burger recipe full of fresh flavors!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground lamb (see note)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1/4 cup tzatziki (see note)
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 4 tomato slices
  • 8 cucumber slices
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onion

Instructions

  1. Divided the ground lamb into four equal parts. Form each into a hamburger patty about one inch wider than the bun (they will shrink as they cook). Season the patties with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Cook the burgers over medium-high heat in a large skillet, grill pan, or on an outdoor grill. Cook them for seven to ten minutes or until they are cooked through and the juices run clear. Lamb should be cooked to a temperature of at least 145°F.
  3. Place the cooked burgers on the buns and top each one with one tablespoon of tzatziki, one tablespoon of feta, a tomato slice, two cucumber slices, and a few slices of onion.

Notes

You can also use ground beef or turkey to make the burgers.

You can make your own tzatziki or look for it premade at the grocery store.
