Baked Beans are so easy to make with canned black beans. They're flavorful and a great side dish for BBQs and potlucks!
First, cut the bacon into pieces and then fry them in a large pan or skillet on the stove.
Once the bacon is crispy, add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the pan. Cook them until the veggies are softened.
This is a great recipe to make ahead. Prepare the beans a day in advance and then store in the fridge. Warm them up on the stove or in a slow cooker!
