Turkey Burgers topped with homemade green goddess dressing, avocado, and fresh greens. These green goddess burgers are so easy - ready in 30 minutes! - and full of fresh flavors.
Make the dressing: Place all of the dressing ingredients in a blender. Puree until smooth. Transfer to a container with a lid and place it in the refrigerator while you make the burgers. The dressing will be thin but will thicken as it chills.
Make the burger patties: Mix all the burger ingredients in a medium bowl until combined. Divide the mixture into four equal parts. Form the meat into patties approximately 4 inches in diameter.
Cook the burgers: Heat a grill pan or non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for five minutes or so on each side. Check the temperature with a meat thermometer. It should read at least 165°.
Assemble the burgers: Top each burger with one tablespoon of the herb dressing, followed by 1/4 of the avocado, 1/4 cup of the spinach, and 1/4 cup of the sprouts.
Notes
The recipe for the dressing makes more than you will need to save the extra for salads, sandwiches, or more turkey burgers later in the week. Or, skip making it and use a bottled green goddess dressing instead. The nutritional information does not include the hamburger buns. The dressing is adapted from Ina Garten.
