A simple butter garlic sauce takes broccoli to a whole level! This quick and easy side dish recipe is great for weeknight meals or holiday dinners. You can cook the broccoli in the oven or the air fryer (I’ve included those instructions in the notes section).

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 pound broccoli florets

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Mix the melted butter, garlic, salt, and onion powder in a large bowl. Add the florets and toss to coat them in the butter mixture.
  3. Spread the florets on a sheet pan. Bake them for 20 minutes or until they are tender and caramelized around the edges.

Notes

Air Fryer Instructions: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F. Line the basket with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Place the florets in a single layer in the basket and cook them for seven to 10 minutes or until they are tender and caramelized around the edges. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
