This smoked salmon spread is full of flavor from fresh herbs, capers, and smoked salmon, plus a rich and creamy sour cream and cream cheese base. It’s great as an appetizer with crackers and veggies or slathered on hot toasted bagels for brunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 ounces smoked salmon
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 2 tablespoons roughly chopped fresh chives
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Place all of the ingredients in a food processor. Process until smooth, scraping the bowl a couple of times to ensure everything is well blended.
  2. Serve with sliced baguette, crackers, veggie sticks, or use it as a spread for toasted bagels or toast.
  3. Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three to four days.

Notes

This spread is on the thicker side, so serve it with sturdy crackers. If you want to make it more dippable, add extra lemon juice and sour cream to thin it.
