Homemade granola is easy to make and so much better than store-bought. This version is crispy and chewy with each bite studded with white chocolate and chopped walnuts.  Enjoy as a snack or add it to your favorite yogurt.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup roughly chopped walnuts
  • 1/3 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Mix the first 9 ingredients together in a large bowl. Line a baking sheet with tin foil and spread the granola mixture in an even layer. Bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes. Stir the granola and continue baking another 10 minutes.
  2. Cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes. Sprinkle the white chocolate chips over the top. Once cooled, transfer the granola to an airtight container for up to a week.
