Cheddar Ranch Beer Dip

This is an easy make-ahead cold dip ready in 10 minutes! Serve it with your favorite crunchy pretzels, fresh veggie sticks, chips, or crackers.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ยฝ cup sour cream
  • 1 (1-ounce) packet ranch seasoning
  • 1/3 cup lager-style beer
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 3 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Add the cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch to the bowl of your mixer. Mix on medium speed until smooth. Adjust the speed to low and mix in the beer until well combined.
  2. Mix in the cheddar cheese and green onions. Cover and chill the dip for a few hours or overnight. Give the dip a good stir before serving it.

Notes

Cream cheese tip: It’s easier to mix softened cream cheese, but if you forget to leave it out at room temperature beforehand, no worries. Slice the block into cubes before you mix it with the sour cream. This will make it easier to mix if it’s cold.

Beer: You can use non-alcoholic lager-style beer in this recipe. It’s a great way to get the beer flavor without the alcohol.
