Fresh and light Mexican fruit salad is a combination of summer fruits dressed in a spicy-sweet dressing. It’s a great cold side dish for any meal or make it for your summer potlucks, BBQs, or cookouts.



For the Dressing

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Juice and zest from one lime (about 2-3 tablespoons of lime juice)
  • ¼½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt

For the Salad

  • 2 cups diced watermelon
  • 2 cups diced honeydew melon
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup diced papaya
  • 1 cup sliced kiwi


  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients.
  2. Place the fruit on a platter or in a large bowl and pour the dressing over the top. Toss to combine.
  3. Refrigerate in a lidded container until ready to serve.
