All you need is a slow cooker and five ingredients to make these honey garlic meatballs. They are a great for dinner or as a party appetizer!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 32 ounces frozen meatballs

Instructions

  1. Whisk the ketchup, honey, soy sauce, and garlic in the slow cooker. Add the frozen meatballs and stir to coat them in the sauce.
  2. Cover and cook on high for two to three hours or low for five to six hours.ย

Notes

For the meatballs, feel free to use frozen turkey meatballs, Italian meatballs, or make homemade meatballs if you want a from-scratch experience. You will need to brown them before you mix them with the sauce in the slow cooker.ย

Feel free to swap the honey with the same amount of brown sugar if that’s what you have on hand.

Stove instructions: If you want to cook them on the stove in a pan, the cooking time will be shorter, but you’ll need to keep an eye on them. Combine all of the ingredients in a large pan or pot and bring the sauce to a simmer. Cover the pot and keep it on medium heat to lowish heat, and stir every so often until the meatballs are hot.

Leftovers will keep in the refrigerator for three to four days.
