Easy Pink Margarita

Pink margaritas are a fun (and easy!) twist on a classic. You only need a few simple ingredients and about 5 minutes to make this refreshing cocktail. Make a few or a pitcher to share – either way, it’s so simple.

a glass of pink margarita.

Warmer weather means it’s time to start sipping on cold adult beverages, and this pink margarita recipe is a great one to try. This easy sipper, also known as a pink senorita, is made with pink lemonade, tequila, and triple sec. What I love is how easy it is to make – like five minutes easy. It’s my favorite kind of drink.

How to Make It

Combine, shake, and pour. That’s it! If you love a tequila drink but want to switch up a classic margarita, this pink lemonade margarita is a fun one to try.

This pink margarita, also known as a pink senorita, is a quick and easy cocktail. This recipe makes one drink, but you can easily scale it up to make a pitcher.

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 margarita 1x
  • Category: Drinks
  • Method: Shaker
  • Cuisine: Mexican-American

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces pink lemonade
  • 2 ounces tequila (see note)
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves and lemon wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the lemonade, tequila, and triple sec.
  2. Secure the lid and shake for 20 to 30 seconds or until the shaker is cold.
  3. Strain the margarita in a glass with ice. Garnish with mint leaves and lemon wedges.

Notes

You can use your favorite tequila, but for the best pink color, use silver tequila.

Big batch: Mix 24 ounces of lemonade, 12 ounces of tequila, and 12 ounces of triple sec in a pitcher. Serve in glasses with ice cubes. This will make 6 (8-ounce) servings.

Variations: Use other kinds of lemonade to switch it up – like strawberry lemonade or another flavor you like.
